With the triumph, Fleming advances its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Colonels host Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league test on Friday, May 9. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 8-6. Lord Botetourt won 3-1 in their recent league test against William Byrd (Vinton, VA)

The Vikings now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Staunton River for a Blue Ridge test on Thursday, May 8. Northside will clash with a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-12.
