In Tuesday's league match, the host Bonsall Legionnaires softball team scored a nice 15-3 win over the San Diego Academy Cavaliers.

The Legionnaires (13-7) will now prepare for their match against Liberty Charter (Alpine, CA). The Lions come into the Summit match with a 8-7 record. In their last match, Liberty Charter notched a victory over Chula Vista Learning Community Charter (San Diego, CA), 11-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Cavaliers confront the Ocean View Christian Patriots (San Diego, CA) in a Summit match, on Thursday, May 8. San Diego Academy will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Patriots come into the match with a 4-8 record after their 18-3 league loss to Bayfront Charter (Chula Vista, CA).
