The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Pikeville Panthers (Pikeville, KY) and the visiting East Ridge Warriors (Lick Creek, KY), observed Pikeville's softball team notch a victory over East Ridge by a final score of 11-2.

The Panthers (11-16) will now prepare for their bout against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 16-10 record. In their last bout, Johnson Central was routed by Blazer (Ashland, KY), 5-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Phelps Hornets (Phelps, KY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 7. East Ridge will attempt to better on its 8-12 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 1-14 record after their 14-5 league loss to Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY).
