In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Gaylord Blue Devils softball team scored a tight 7-2 win over the Traverse City Central Trojans.
The Blue Devils (9-1) will now prepare for their match against Dakota (Macomb, MI). The Cougars come into the non-league match with a 15-3 record. In their last match, Dakota was routed by Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI), 13-8, in a league match.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Kalkaska Blazers (Kalkaska, MI) in a non-league match, on Thursday, May 8. Traverse City Central will attempt to better on its 10-8 season record. The Blazers come into the match with a 8-5 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI).
