The Goodland Cowboys softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Holcomb Longhorns to 0 in the Cowboys league win on Tuesday.

The Cowboys now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cimarron for a GWAC battle on Tuesday, May 13. Goodland will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 22-8 league win over Hugoton (Hugoton, KS). The Bluejays record now stands at 13-9.

With the loss, Holcomb moves to 0-14 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Lakin (Lakin, KS) to confront the Broncs in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 8. The Broncs come into the battle with a record of 7-11. Lakin won 6-5 in their recent non-league battle against Cimarron (Cimarron, KS)
