The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL) and the host Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL), witnessed Lakes's softball team overcome Grayslake North by a margin of 22-9.

The Eagles now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Round Lake for a Northern Lake County outing on Thursday, May 8. Lakes will encounter a Panthers team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Grayslake North moves to 13-7 on the season. The Knights travel to Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to encounter the Corsairs in a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 7. The Corsairs come into the outing with a record of 13-6. Carmel won 14-9 in their recent non-league outing against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL)
