The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the West Bend East Suns (West Bend, WI) and the host Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI), observed West Bend East's softball team get by Homestead by a tally of 13-7.

The Suns (7-10) will now prepare for their bout against Slinger (Slinger, WI). The Owls go into the North Shore bout with a 9-5 record. In their last bout, Slinger tipped Cedarburg (Cedarburg, WI), 5-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Highlanders battle the Hartford Orioles (Hartford, WI) in a North Shore bout, on Thursday, May 8. Homestead will attempt to advance on its 3-12 season record. The Orioles go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 4-3 league loss to West Bend West (West Bend, WI).
