In Tuesday's league match, the host Marengo Indians softball team scored a nice 14-4 victory over the Johnsburg Skyhawks.

The Indians (21-7) will now prepare for their match against Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Hornets go into the Kishwaukee River match with a 11-9 record. In their last match, Harvard was routed by Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL), 5-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Skyhawks battle the Plano Reapers (Plano, IL) in a Kishwaukee River match, on Thursday, May 8. Johnsburg will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record. The Reapers go into the match with a 6-15 record after their 10-6 league loss to Woodstock (Woodstock, IL).
