The St. Laurence Vikings softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Mother McAuley Mighty Macs to 0 in the Vikings league win on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fenwick for a GCAC- Red battle on Thursday, May 8. St. Laurence will confront a Friars team coming off a 6-5 league win over Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Friars record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Mother McAuley moves to 8-13 on the season. The Mighty macs travel to Resurrection (Chicago, IL) to confront the Bandits in a GCAC- Red battle on Thursday, May 8. The Bandits come into the battle with a record of 9-9. Resurrection lost 6-5 in their recent league battle against Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL)
