The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the South Vermillion Wildcats (Clinton, IN) and the visiting Parke Heritage Wolves (Rockville, IN), observed South Vermillion's softball team get by Parke Heritage by a tally of 8-4.

The Wildcats (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Terre Haute North Vigo (Terre Haute, IN). The Patriots come into the non-league outing with a 14-5 record. In their last outing, Terre Haute North Vigo was routed by Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN), 6-1, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, Parke Heritage moves to 6-11 on the season. The Wolves travel to Seeger (West Lebanon, IN) to encounter the Patriots in a Wabash River outing on Saturday, May 10. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 6-14. Seeger lost 8-1 in their recent non-league outing against Salt Fork (Sidell, IL)
