Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Petersburg Crimson Wave (Petersburg, VA), 15-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Prince George upgrades its record to 11-3 on the year. The Royals travel to Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 7. The Cavaliers enter the game with a record of 9-4. Clover Hill won 18-2 in their recent league game against Richmond High School for the Arts (Richmond, VA)

The Crimson Wave now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Matoaca for a Central game on Thursday, May 8. Petersburg will play a Warriors squad coming off a 6-0 league win over Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-3.
