The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL) and the host Sandwich Indians (Sandwich, IL), observed Richmond-Burton's softball team notch a victory over Sandwich by a tally of 8-0.

The Rockets (19-6) will now prepare for their bout against Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL). The Thunder go into the Kishwaukee River bout with a 9-7 record. In their last bout, Woodstock North gained a win over Harvard (Harvard, IL), 5-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) in a Kishwaukee River bout, on Thursday, May 8. Sandwich will attempt to advance on its 9-9 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the bout with a 4-16 record after their 10-6 league win over Plano (Plano, IL).
