Virginia High School Softball - Riverheads sneaks past Waynesboro

In Tuesday's league match, the host Riverheads Gladiators softball team scored a tight 10-9 win over the Waynesboro Little Giants.
The Gladiators (5-6) will now prepare for their match against Stonewall Jackson (Quicksburg, VA). The Generals come into the non-league match with a 6-9 record. In their last match, Stonewall Jackson was nipped by Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA), 14-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Little Giants confront the Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) in a Shenandoah match, on Thursday, May 8. Waynesboro will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Storm come into the match with a 3-10 record after their 23-2 league loss to Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA).
