The Winner Warriors softball team scored 23 runs and held the visiting Stanley County Buffalos to 5 in the Warriors non-league win on Tuesday.

The Warriors now possess a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wagner for a Class A battle on Monday, May 12. Winner will confront a Red Raiders team coming off a 10-5 league loss to Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD). The Red Raiders record now stands at 5-16.

With the loss, Stanley County moves to 0-7 on the season. The Buffalos travel to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD) to confront the Titans in a non-league battle on Monday, May 19. The Titans come into the battle with a record of 7-4.
