West Virginia High School Baseball - Wayne loses to Point Pleasant

The Point Pleasant Big Blacks triumphed over the visiting Wayne Pioneers baseball squad by a score of 12-2 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

Next up, the Big Blacks battle the Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) in a non-league outing, on Friday, May 8. Point Pleasant will attempt to advance on its 15-10 season record. The Timberwolves come into the outing with a 19-8 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Herbert Hoover (Elkview, WV).

The Pioneers (7-18) will now prepare for their outing against Tug Valley (Williamson, WV). The Panthers come into the non-league outing with a 13-14 record. In their last outing, Tug Valley toppled Mingo Central (Matewan, WV), 6-4, in a non-league outing.
