The Saint Viator Lions baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting St. Patrick Shamrocks to 0 in the Lions league win on Wednesday.
The Lions now own a 18-7 record. They take the field next when they host Nazareth Academy for a East Suburban Catholic test on Saturday, May 9. Saint Viator will play a Roadrunners team coming off a 5-4 league win over Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Roadrunners record now stands at 19-7.
With the defeat, St. Patrick drops to 10-13 on the year. The Shamrocks travel to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL) to play the Redwings in a East Suburban Catholic test on Saturday, May 9. The Redwings go into the test with a record of 14-10. Benet Academy lost 5-4 in their recent league test against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL)
