The Southern Alamance Patriots crushed the visiting Asheboro Blue Comets baseball team by a tally of 11-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Patriots now hold a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southeast Guilford for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 11. Southern Alamance will face a Falcons team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 2-1.
Next, the Blue Comets face the Eastern Guilford Wildcats (Gibsonville, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, May 11. Asheboro will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 11-1 league win over Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC).
