The Carroll Chargers baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Penn Kingsmen to 5 in the Chargers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Chargers (19-2) will now prepare for their match against Homestead (Fort Wayne, IN). The Spartans go into the non-league match with a 12-3 record. In their last match, Homestead tipped Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN), 5-1, in a non-league match.
The Kingsmen (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against South Bend St. Joseph (South Bend, IN). The Indians go into the Northern Indiana outing with a 9-4 record. In their last outing, South Bend St. Joseph edged South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN), 6-3, in a league outing.
