Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Converse Wildcats (Converse, LA) and the visiting Weston Wolves (Jonesboro, LA), saw Converse's baseball squad edge Weston by a count of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Quitman Wolverines (Quitman, LA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, May 11. Converse will attempt to move on its 20-7 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 12-6 record after their 16-0 non-league win over Pitkin (Pitkin, LA).
