The Morgan Township Cherokees baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Covenant Christian Knights to 0 in the Cherokees non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cherokees (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Westville (Westville, IN). The Blackhawks go into the Porter County match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Westville was overwhelmed by Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN), 8-4, in a league match.
The Knights (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN). The Cherokees go into the non-league match with a 11-6 record. In their last match, Morgan Township was overwhelmed by Portage (Portage, IN), 22-13, in a non-league match.
