Pelion Panthers (Pelion, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Edisto Cougars (Cordova, SC), 6-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Pelion upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Panthers travel to Woodland (Dorchester, SC) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league test on Monday, May 9. The Wolverines come into the test with a record of 10-3. Woodland won 13-5 in their recent non-league test against Pelion (Pelion, SC)

With the defeat, Edisto falls to 7-12 on the season.
