The Pomfret School Griffins lacrosse team scored 10 points and held the visiting Frederick Gunn Highlanders to 8 in the Griffins league win on Saturday.
The Griffins (10-3) will now prepare for their game against Cushing Academy (Ashburnham, MA). The Penguins go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record.
The Highlanders (9-3) will now prepare for their game against St. Luke's (New Canaan, CT). The Storm go into the Nepsac game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, St. Luke's was nudged by Cheshire Academy (Cheshire, CT), 15-13, in a league game.
