In Saturday's non-league contest, the Lexington Wildcats (Lexington, SC) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Cane Bay Cobras (Summerville, SC), by a margin of 10-0.
With the triumph, Lexington moves its record to 22-2 on the year.
In their next game, the Cobras play the Fort Dorchester Patriots (North Charleston, SC) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 9. Cane Bay will attempt to move on its 15-10 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 3-9 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Sumter (Sumter, SC).
