In Saturday's league outing, the host Dunkirk Marauders softball team scored a close 10-8 win over the Southwestern Trojans.
Coming up next, the Marauders battle the Olean Huskies (Olean, NY) in a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus I outing, on Monday, May 9. Dunkirk will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Huskies enter the outing with a 7-5 record after their 18-0 league win over Allegany-Limestone (Allegany, NY).
The Trojans (2-6) will now prepare for their outing against Falconer (Falconer, NY). The Golden Falcons enter the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus I outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Falconer tipped Dunkirk (Dunkirk, NY), 15-3, in a league outing.
