Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT), 11-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Centaurs now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bacon Academy for a Eastern Connecticut - Medium challenge on Tuesday, May 10. Woodstock Academy will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 26-4 non-league loss to East Lyme (East Lyme, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-12.

With the loss, Griswold falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Ledyard (Ledyard, CT) to battle the Colonels in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 10. The Colonels enter the challenge with a record of 10-5. Ledyard won 9-1 in their recent league challenge against East Lyme (East Lyme, CT)
