Ketchikan Kings (Ketchikan, AK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Sitka Wolves (Sitka, AK), 11-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Kings now own a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thunder Mountain for a Southeast challenge on Thursday, May 12. Ketchikan will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK). The Falcons record now stands at 11-8.
With the loss, Sitka falls to 3-12 on the season. The Wolves travel to Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK) to face the Crimson Bears in a Southeast match on Thursday, May 12.
