Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting South Bend St. Joseph Indians (South Bend, IN), 14-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Lancers now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mishawaka Marian for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 7. Lakeshore will face a Knights squad coming off a 10-7 league win over Elkhart (Elkhart, IN). The Knights record now stands at 4-6.
With the loss, South Bend St. Joseph falls to 17-1 on the campaign. The Indians host St. Joseph (St. Joseph, MI) to face the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 7. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
