Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Penn Kingsmen (Mishawaka, IN) and the visiting Oak Park-River Forest Huskies (Oak Park, IL), witnessed Penn's softball squad tip Oak Park-River Forest by a count of 9-2.

The Kingsmen now sport a 14-6 record. They play next when they host South Bend St. Joseph for a Northern Indiana match on Monday, May 9. Penn will meet a Indians squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Buchanan (Buchanan, MI). The Indians record now stands at 17-1.

With the loss, Oak Park-River Forest moves to 5-10 on the season. The Huskies travel to Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL) to meet the Trojans in a West Suburban - Silver match on Monday, May 9. The Trojans go into the match with a record of 9-6. Downers Grove North lost 7-1 in their recent non-league match against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL)
