Wylie Pirates (Wylie, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Temple Wildcats (Temple, TX), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now sport a 31-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Midway for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 12. Wylie will face a Panthers squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Rockwall (Rockwall, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 28-6.
With the loss, Temple falls to 12-9 on the campaign.
