Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), 8-0 in a league test.

With the win, Louisa County upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Lions host Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to battle the Flying Flucos in a Jefferson test on Thursday, May 9. The Flying Flucos come into the test with a record of 12-3. Fluvanna County won 7-2 in their recent league test against Orange County (Orange, VA)

With the defeat, Charlottesville falls to 7-10 on the season. The Black knights travel to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to battle the Patriots in a Jefferson test on Thursday, May 9. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 9-8. Albemarle won 4-1 in their recent league test against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA)
