The Pioneers (8-2) will now prepare for their match against Harrison (Harrison, MI). The Hornets go into the Jack Pine challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Harrison was overwhelmed by Meridian (Sanford, MI), 11-4, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Harrison falls to 3-13 on the season. The Hornets host Clare (Clare, MI) to battle the Pioneers in a Jack Pine challenge on Tuesday, May 7. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 6-2. Clare won 13-6 in their recent league challenge against Gladwin (Gladwin, MI)
