The Marshall Tigers baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting New Ulm Eagles to 5 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Mankato East (Mankato, MN). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 10-3 record. In their last match, Mankato East ran past Mayo (Rochester, MN), 11-5, in a league match.
The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their match against Fairmont (Fairmont, MN). The Cardinals go into the South Central match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Fairmont ran past Worthington (Worthington, MN), 9-7, in a non-league match.
