The Granite City Warriors volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Metro-East Lutheran Knights to 1 in the Warriors non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Warriors now possess a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belleville West for a non-league game on Monday, May 13.
The Knights (1-19) will now prepare for their game against Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL). The Crusaders enter the Gateway Metro game with a 18-11 record. In their last game, Althoff Catholic was nudged by Belleville West (Belleville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
