The Lacey Township Lions (Lanoka Harbor, NJ) volleyball were winner over the visiting Lakewood Piners (Lakewood, NJ), 2-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Lacey Township betters its record to 11-5 on the year. The Lions travel to St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ) to face the Lancers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, May 8. The Lancers go into the outing with a record of 12-4.

The Piners now sport a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a Shore - B South outing on Thursday, May 9. Lakewood will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Christian Brothers Academy (Lincroft, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 15-4.
