The Latin Romans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Lake Forest Academy Caxys to 0 in the Romans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Romans now have a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lycee Francais de Chicago for a non-league game on Wednesday, May 8. Latin will meet a team coming off a 2-0 league win over Waldorf (Chicago, IL). The record now stands at 11-1.
The Caxys (1-12) will now prepare for their game against Cristo Rey St. Martin (Waukegan, IL). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 12-9 record. In their last game, Cristo Rey St. Martin dropped by Zion-Benton (Zion, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
