Essex Hornets (Essex Junction, VT) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT), 6-5 in a league battle.

The Hornets now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Burlington for a Division I battle on Thursday, May 9. Essex will clash with a Wolves squad coming off a 16-8 league win over Rutland (Rutland, VT). The Wolves record now stands at 7-1.

In their next game, the Redhawks clash with the Bellows Free Academy Bobwhites/Comets (St. Albans, VT) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, May 9. Champlain Valley Union will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record.
