The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) and the visiting East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC), saw Elkin's soccer squad knock off East Wilkes by a margin of 4-1.

The Buckin' Elks now sport a 17-4 record. They play next when they host Mount Airy for a Northwest 1A test on Wednesday, May 8. Elkin will meet a Granite Bears squad coming off a 7-1 league win over South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, East Wilkes drops to 6-8 on the season. The Cardinals host Starmount (Boonville, NC) to meet the Rams in a Northwest 1A test on Thursday, May 9. The Rams come into the test with a record of 11-5. Starmount won 1-0 in their recent league test against North Stokes (Danbury, NC)
