In Tuesday's league battle, the host Roxboro Community Bulldogs soccer squad scored a good 9-0 win over the Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions.
The Bulldogs (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC). The Griffins go into the Triangle North 1A battle with a 5-10 record. In their last battle, Oxford Prep was overwhelmed by Vance County (Henderson, NC), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Flying Lions (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Cristo Rey Research Triangle (Durham, NC). The Bulls go into the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Cristo Rey Research Triangle was overwhelmed by Carolina Friends (Durham, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
