The Live Oak Acorns softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Gilroy Mustangs to 11 in the Acorns league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Live Oak improves its record to 8-10 on the year. The Acorns travel to Willow Glen (San Jose, CA) to clash with the Rams in a game on Wednesday, May 8. The Rams come into the game with a record of 5-6. Willow Glen lost 10-1 in their recent league game against Branham (San Jose, CA)

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Santa Teresa Saints (San Jose, CA) in a game, on Friday, May 10. Gilroy will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Saints come into the game with a 3-12 record after their 20-9 league loss to Leigh (San Jose, CA).
