In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Newark Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies.
The Wildcats now have a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Pickerington North for a Region 3 test on Friday, May 10. Newark will face a Panthers squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Columbus Academy (Gahanna, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 8-8.
In their next game, the Johnnies face the Wilmington Hurricane (Wilmington, OH) in a non-league test, on Friday, May 10. Johnstown-Monroe will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Hurricane come into the test with a 4-9 record after their 10-9 league loss to Edgewood (Trenton, OH).
