Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Rappahannock County (Washington, VA), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mountaineers confront the Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 9. Madison County will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 2-1 league win over Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA).

The now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain View for a Bull Run challenge on Friday, May 10. Rappahannock County will confront a Generals team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Page County (Shenandoah, VA). The Generals record now stands at 7-6.
