Angola Hornets (Angola, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Westview Warriors (Topeka, IN), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Noble for a Northeast Corner challenge on Thursday, May 9. Angola will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 8-4 league loss to Fairfield (Goshen, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 16-6.

With the loss, Westview falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Warriors host Churubusco (Churubusco, IN) to battle the Eagles in a Northeast Corner challenge on Thursday, May 9. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 6-9. Churubusco won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakewood Park Christian (Auburn, IN)
