Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI) and the visiting St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI), witnessed Cranston West's softball squad tip St. Raphael Academy by a count of 4-2.

The Falcons now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Greenwich for a Division 1 (State) match on Thursday, May 9. Cranston West will face a Avengers squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Avengers record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, St. Raphael Academy moves to 3-8 on the season. The Saints travel to Coventry (Coventry, RI) to face the Oakers in a Division 1 (State) match on Thursday, May 9. The Oakers go into the match with a record of 10-3. Coventry lost 13-0 in their recent league match against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI)
