Edwardsville Tigers (Edwardsville, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host East St. Louis Flyers (East St. Louis, IL), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 18-7 record. They take the field next when they host Belleville East for a Southwestern challenge on Thursday, May 9. Edwardsville will battle a Lancers squad coming off a 14-2 league win over O'Fallon (O'Fallon, IL). The Lancers record now stands at 20-8.

With the loss, East St. Louis falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Belleville West (Belleville, IL) to battle the Maroons in a Southwestern challenge on Thursday, May 9. The Maroons enter the challenge with a record of 9-20.
