The Eagles now sport a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cave Spring for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 8. Franklin County will face a Knights squad coming off a 8-3 league loss to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Knights record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, William Byrd falls to 10-11 on the campaign. The Terriers travel to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA) to face the Cavaliers in a Blue Ridge match on Thursday, May 9. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 10-8. Lord Botetourt lost 14-7 in their recent non-league match against Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA)
