The Gilford Golden Eagles routed the host Winnisquam Bears softball squad by a final score of 15-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Golden Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Belmont (Belmont, NH). The Red Raiders go into the Division III battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Belmont was routed by Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH), 11-0, in a league battle.
The Bears now possess a 2-8 record. They play next when they host White Mountains for a Division III battle on Friday, May 10. Winnisquam will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 17-5 league loss to Berlin (Berlin, NH). The Spartans record now stands at 1-8.
