Harrisburg Bulldogs (Harrisburg, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Pope County Pirates (Golconda, IL), 13-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 15-15 record. They take the field next when they host Hardin County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 9. Harrisburg will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Norris City-Omaha-Enfield (Norris City, IL). The Cougars record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Pope County falls to 9-16 on the campaign.
