The Medford Mustangs softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Lynn Classical Rams to 1 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Medford moves its record to 10-2 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Arlington Catholic (Arlington, MA) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Thursday, May 9. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 7-1. Arlington Catholic won 12-1 in their recent non-league game against Fontbonne Academy (Milton, MA)

In their next game, the Rams play the Reading Memorial Rockets (Reading, MA) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 10. Lynn Classical will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Rockets come into the game with a 9-3 record after their 7-2 league loss to Arlington (Arlington, MA).
