Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Northern Cambria Colts (Northern Cambria, PA), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Black Knights/Damsels now own a 1-14 record. They take the field next when they host West Branch for a Inter County - North challenge on Thursday, May 9. Moshannon Valley will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Glendale (Flinton, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 16-1.

With the loss, Northern Cambria falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA) to battle the Blue Jays in a Heritage challenge on Wednesday, May 8. The Blue Jays enter the challenge with a record of 16-2. Conemaugh Valley won 24-0 in their recent league challenge against Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA)
