Santa Fe Indian Braves (Santa Fe, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM), 5-1 in a league challenge.

The Braves now own a 12-12 record. They take the field next when they host St. Michael's for a 3A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, May 7. Santa Fe Indian will face a Horsemen squad coming off a 11-10 non-league loss to East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM). The Horsemen record now stands at 7-14.

With the loss, St. Michael's falls to 7-16 on the campaign. The Horsemen travel to Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM) to face the Braves in a 3A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, May 7.
